On 17 June 2014, the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce organised a Summer Meeting for its members at the Komi Republic Office in the Northwest Region of the Russian Federation. In recent years, such meetings have come to be held regularly and tend to coincide with the Johannes summer holiday – a close comparable to the Slavic tradition of the Feast of St. John the Baptist (Ivan Kupala Day).

Meeting participants had an opportunity to study the development plans of the Komi Republic, become acquainted with some traditions of Finno-Ugric culture, and socialise with one another.

Irina Moshnyakova, Manager of the Real Estate and Investments Department, represented IEI at the meeting.
